NJPW has announced the full schedule for its annual G1 Climax tournament, which begins July 11. The round-robin competition will run through mid-August and determine the challenger for the IWGP Heavyweight Title at Wrestle Kingdom 21.
The opening night on July 11 features eight matches split between A Block and B Block. Competitors include Konosuke Takeshita, Yota Tsuji, Hirooki Goto, SANADA, Shingo Takagi, Zack Sabre Jr., and others.
Subsequent dates through August 13 include additional block matches. Semifinals are scheduled for August 15 and the finals for August 16.
Fightful stated it will provide coverage throughout the tournament.
