The Nahdlatul Ulama central board announced that the 2026 NU Muktamar will be held from 1-5 August with the location still to be decided.
Steering Committee Secretary of the 2026 NU Munas and Konbes M Nuh stated that the NU Muktamar will be held from 1-5 August 2026.
The Muktamar venue will be chosen after a special meeting that reviews proposed locations in NTB, East Java, West Java and West Sumatra based on infrastructure, security, financial and spiritual feasibility.
M Nuh explained that the 2026 NU Munas and Konbes underway at Pesantren Al Falah Kediri have also agreed on association regulations for mining asset management covering 100 percent ownership by NU, governance according to syar'i rules, benefits for the entire NU family and business sustainability.
The closing of the Munas and Konbes is scheduled in Bangkalan on Tuesday 23 June with President Prabowo Subianto in attendance.
