A person has been found dead in a river in Halmstad. Police have opened a murder investigation after an alert came in on Monday.
Police and rescue services were alerted on Monday about a person in the water. At the scene it was confirmed that the person was deceased.
The cause of death is not known. Police have opened a murder investigation.
– We have been there and carried out investigative technical measures, says police spokesperson Fredrik Svedemyr.
There is no suspect at present.
