Phasmophobia developer apologises for recent update issues

Kinetic Games has apologised to players for problems with the Player Character Update in Phasmophobia. The studio admitted it missed the mark and failed to meet expectations.

Kinetic Games has pushed back the release of Phasmophobia's 1.0 version to 2027. The studio cited the need to prioritise quality following recent player feedback on updates.

Phasmophobia players can now experience a limited-time collaboration with Remedy's Alan Wake series. The free update recreates locations from Alan Wake 2 and adds new character skins along with community challenges.

Capcom released an unannounced update for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on Steam on June 15. The patch introduced bug fixes and Windows 11 compatibility but accidentally disabled the Dark Phoenix mechanic for the character Phoenix.
