Major retailers are offering discounts on physical PlayStation 5 games to match the PlayStation Store summer sale. The promotions cover numerous first-party Sony titles and other exclusives. They come as the company plans to end disc support for the console generation in 2028.
Sales are active at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, GameStop, and Target. Discounts include Saros at $50, Returnal at $30, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection at $20.
Other titles feature God of War at $10, God of War Ragnarok at $30, and Horizon Forbidden West Complete at $30. Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is listed at $30, while Death Stranding 2 is available for $40.
Spider-Man 2 is priced at $30 ahead of the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day release. The Last of Us Part 2 and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart are each offered at $30.
Sony has stated it will permit publishers to continue printing discs for existing PlayStation 5 games after the 2028 transition.
