Raye confirms second album release for March

UK singer-songwriter Raye has announced her second album, This Music May Contain Hope, set for release on March 27. The project follows the success of her UK No.1 single Where Is My Husband!, which has garnered over 600 million streams. Raye described the album as a form of personal medicine to share with the world.

Raye, the Grammy-nominated artist from South London, is preparing to release her sophomore album, This Music May Contain Hope, on March 27 via Human Re Sources/The Orchard. This follows her debut LP, My 21st Century Blues, and builds on the momentum from her recent UK No.1 single, Where Is My Husband!. The track has peaked at No.13 on the US Hot 100, No.6 on Spotify’s Global Chart, and entered the Top 10 in countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland. It has accumulated more than 600 million streams to date.

Since her 2014 debut, Raye has achieved 20 Top 40 UK singles and surpassed 10 billion cumulative streams. She recently secured two nominations at the 2026 BRIT Awards for Song of the Year (Where Is My Husband!) and Best Pop, adding to her record six BRIT wins in 2024.

The new album is structured around four “seasons,” with each side of the double vinyl representing a different one. In a statement, Raye shared: “Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world. I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”

Raye has launched her 51-date sold-out arena tour, This Tour May Contain New Music, supported by her sisters Absolutely and Amma. The tour covers Europe and the UK, including six nights at The O2, before moving to North America. This summer, she will join Bruno Mars as a special guest on his 27-date The Romantic Tour across US stadiums.

During Grammys week, Raye will receive the Recording Academy’s Harry Belafonte Best Song for Social Change award for Ice Cream Man.
