Region Dalarna allocates nearly 10 million kronor for Cosmic improvements amid ongoing criticism

Region Dalarna is investing nearly 10 million kronor to improve the Cosmic patient record system, following persistent complaints from healthcare staff, including a recent survey where 400 doctors labeled it a risk. Region Dalarna has allocated nearly 10 million kronor to enhance the Cosmic patient record system, amid continued criticism documented in a Dalarnas läkarförening survey where 400 doctors described it as a risk.

Regional councilor Elin Norén (S) stated: "What we've decided now is to take a new approach together with the other Sussa regions." The initiative directly addresses feedback from employees in the region's health and medical services, building on prior issues raised since the system's joint implementation across Sussa regions.

The collaboration aims to deliver tangible improvements to a system that has faced scrutiny, including links to patient safety concerns in earlier investigations.
