Rolling stones release deepfake video for in the stars

The Rolling Stones have unveiled a new music video for their song In the Stars that uses deepfake technology to de-age the band members. The clip stars actress Odessa A'zion and serves as a preview for the group's upcoming album Foreign Tongues.

Directed by Francois Rousselet, the video shows deepfake versions of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood performing at a house party. A'zion dances to the track and interacts with the de-aged Jagger before the scene turns surreal with multiple drummers and guitarists appearing on screen. The band used Deep Voodoo technology to create the effect, continuing a tradition of casting rising actors in their videos that includes past appearances by Sydney Sweeney and Kristen Stewart.
