Sweden donates 120 million kronor to WHO for Ebola response

Sweden is contributing 120 million kronor through Sida to the WHO to combat the Ebola outbreak in Congo-Kinshasa and neighboring countries.

Sweden is backing the WHO response to the Ebola outbreak with a donation of 120 million kronor via Sida. The WHO is working with the African Union’s disease control agency CDC on efforts in Congo-Kinshasa and countries such as Uganda.
