Tomorrowland restricts fireworks at weekend two over wildfire risks

Tomorrowland has limited pyrotechnics for the second weekend of its 2026 edition in response to elevated wildfire risks in Belgium.

Organisers confirmed that large-scale fireworks are banned, with only the main stage allowed to use smaller T1 and T2 effects under daily safety checks. The restrictions apply until the festival ends on Sunday night, July 26.

Belgium remains under a Code Orange wildfire alert due to dry and hot conditions. High-altitude fireworks used in prior years have been dropped to follow local authority guidance.

Additional safety measures include a ban on personal barbecues at the campsite, with communal cooking areas provided instead. Weekend two features performers including Calvin Harris, ALOK, Mall Grab and Indira Paganotto.
