President Donald Trump said he expects to receive a letter from Iran very soon in response to the latest United States peace proposal on its nuclear program.

Speaking to reporters Friday evening at his golf club in Virginia, Trump stated that the letter is due tonight. “We’re getting a letter [from Iran] supposedly tonight, so we’ll see how that goes,” he said. He added that he does not know if Iran is stalling and will find out soon enough.
