Le président Donald Trump a déclaré qu'il s'attend à recevoir très prochainement une lettre de l'Iran en réponse à la dernière proposition de paix des États-Unis concernant son programme nucléaire.

S'adressant aux journalistes vendredi soir dans son club de golf en Virginie, Trump a indiqué que la lettre était attendue pour ce soir. « Nous recevons supposément une lettre [de l'Iran] ce soir, nous verrons donc comment les choses évoluent », a-t-il déclaré. Il a ajouté qu'il ne savait pas si l'Iran cherchait à gagner du temps et qu'il le saurait assez tôt.
