An 18-year-old Wisconsin woman pleaded guilty last week to hit-and-run involving death after admitting she struck and killed a marathon runner while driving intoxicated. The plea came months after she admitted to three homicide charges in the same case.
Addison Bowell entered the plea on May 14 in Dunn County court. She faces sentencing on October 8 for the death of 54-year-old Ann Seidl, who was hit at 7:15 a.m. on March 29, 2025, while running near Bowell's home in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
