Kia unveils larger 2027 Seltos hybrid and EV3 at New York Auto Show

Kia debuted the redesigned 2027 Seltos SUV, including a new hybrid variant, alongside the North American debut of the all-electric 2027 EV3 at the 2026 New York International Auto Show. The Seltos features increased interior space and advanced tech, while the EV3 offers up to 320 miles of range. Both models are set to arrive in the US later in 2026.
Kia America Inc., part of Hyundai Motor Group, will introduce Boston Dynamics' Atlas humanoid robots at its Georgia manufacturing facility starting in 2029. This follows the CES 2026 unveiling and Hyundai's planned 2028 rollout at the nearby Metaplant in Savannah. Kia aims to expand the robots—rivals to Tesla's Optimus—to other global factories, starting with simple manufacturing tasks. Separately, Kia is developing software-defined vehicles with Level 2 autonomy by around 2027.

Kia will unveil the next-generation Seltos today, featuring a bold new design, a more premium cabin, larger dimensions, and the possibility of a strong-hybrid powertrain. The model is set for launch in India in early 2026.
