It rejects industry calls for 2020 cut compensation and adds incentives for biomethane injection and digitalization. The plan enters public consultation today.

The Agencia Nacional de Hidrocarburos (ANH) celebrated the offshore natural gas discovery in the Copoazú-1 well, reported by Ecopetrol and Petrobras. The well is located 36 km from the coast at a water depth of 964 meters, with drilling starting on November 11, 2025.
