Slipknot members' long-lost album gains 2026 release date

A side project by Slipknot members Corey Taylor, Jim Root, Sid Wilson, and Shawn 'Clown' Crahan, titled Look Outside Your Window, is set for release on April 18, 2026, as part of Record Store Day. Recorded during sessions for the band's 2008 album All Hope Is Gone, the experimental record will appear under its own name, not Slipknot's, in a limited vinyl edition. Fans have anticipated this melodic, Radiohead-inspired work for over 15 years.
Guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer shared details on the band's ongoing work toward a follow-up to their 2022 album Requiem. The group has also addressed the status of former bassist Fieldy, who left in 2021.

The nu metal band From Ashes to New has revealed details of their upcoming album Reflections, set for release on April 17 via Better Noise Music. The third single from the record, Villain, is now available. This follows their successful 2023 album Blackout.
