Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is scheduled to release on Friday, May 22, with deluxe edition owners gaining access earlier. Credits confirm that Rocksteady Studios contributed around 24 developers to the project. Warner Bros. Games Montréal also provided support during development.
Actor Shai Matheson has taken on the role of Batman in the new Lego game Legacy of the Dark Knight. He spoke about paying tribute to the late Kevin Conroy while creating a fresh take on the character.

The upcoming LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will take center stage at The Game Awards with new gameplay footage and an anticipated release date announcement. Originally unveiled at Gamescom 2025, the title promises an open-world adventure in a LEGO version of Gotham City. It is slated for a 2026 launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
