K-pop girl group Blackpink has hit 100 million subscribers on YouTube, becoming the first official artist channel to reach the milestone. The group achieved this roughly nine years and eight months after launching their channel in June 2016. YouTube presented Blackpink with a custom Red Diamond Creator Award to celebrate.
President Lee Jae-myung lambasted a conservative YouTube channel's slush fund accusations against him as 'pathetic' and 'malicious' on March 19. The channel, run by Jeon Han-gil, aired an interview claiming Lee transferred 160 trillion won and military secrets to China. Lee called for severe punishment of the claims.

Google has invested $1 million in Animaj, an AI-focused animation studio targeting younger audiences. This marks the first direct funding from YouTube to a kids' studio. The company is also providing Animaj access to its DeepMind program and Veo video generator.

According to Downdetector, India saw 19,097 complaints at 7:11 am. The company has acknowledged the disruption but provided no details on the cause or restoration timeline.
