The club, founded in 1896 and located west of Philadelphia since 1926, requires potential members to navigate an opaque application process that may involve waits ranging from six months to a decade or more. A source familiar with the club noted that candidates are not processed in a sequential roster order. Initiation fees stand at $150,000, with monthly dues of approximately $1,800, placing Aronimink among the higher-cost options in the Philadelphia area. Members gain access to a Donald Ross-designed course restored in 2017 and ranked 84th on GOLF’s Top 100 Courses in the U.S., along with amenities including pools, courts, and trap shooting. In 1962, Gary Player won the PGA Championship at the venue and received honorary membership in 2025, with a clubhouse room named in his honor.
