Asian Kung-Fu Generation releases Fujieda EP and Skins single

Japanese rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation has released its Fujieda EP and the single Skins in consecutive months. The new music coincides with the group's 30th anniversary celebrations, including overseas shows and an arena concert.

The four-track Fujieda EP was recorded entirely at Music inn Fujieda, a residential studio in a renovated 130-year-old storehouse in Shizuoka. Band members described the space as comfortable and well-designed, noting its high ceilings, strong drum sound, and use of reclaimed materials from disaster sites including the Noto earthquake. Frontman Masafumi Gotoh said he created the studio to offer musicians an affordable alternative to expensive Tokyo facilities.
