कैबिनेट ने बुधवार को २५,४४६ करोड़ रुपये की लागत से ४३ किलोमीटर लंबा वरुणा कॉरिडोर और ४६ किलोमीटर लंबा गंगा कॉरिडोर मंजूर किया।
ये परियोजनाएं हाइब्रिड एन्युटी मोड में विकसित होंगी और वाराणसी डिकंजेशन प्लान का हिस्सा हैं।
वाराणसी में सालाना लगभग १५ करोड़ पर्यटक आते हैं जिससे शहर की यातायात व्यवस्था पर भारी दबाव पड़ता है।
