Crimson Desert drives Pearl Abyss revenue up 419 percent

Pearl Abyss reported a sharp rise in revenue after the March launch of Crimson Desert. The company posted operating revenue of 328.5 billion won, up 419.8 percent from a year earlier.

The gains came from strong sales of the new single-player title, which accounted for most of the increase. Operating profit reached 212.1 billion won. Sales of Crimson Desert were split evenly between consoles and PC, with more than 80 percent of purchases coming from North America and Europe.
