San Antonio Spurs rising star Dylan Harper has unveiled a new Nike sneaker colorway honoring his Filipino heritage. The release is set for June 17.
Nike, TITAN, and Dylan Harper introduced the “Daybreak” colorway as the first in the Nike Air Zoom GT Cut EP “DUSK 2 DAWN” series. The design draws from a sunrise over Bataan, the Philippine province that is Harper’s mother’s hometown.
The light blue upper features soft gradients on the Swoosh in Bleached Aqua, Cashmere, Sport Gold, Chile Red, Metallic Silver, and Glacier Blue. It carries a suggested retail price of $200 and will be available through TITAN.
The launch coincides with the TITAN Daybreak Tournament. TITAN, a Manila-based basketball collective founded in 2010, has used its Nike collaborations to highlight stories tied to Philippine basketball culture.
