The Gombe State Government has ordered an immediate investigation into the collapse of a section of the entrance canopy at the ongoing construction site of the State House of Assembly complex, which killed one person and injured seven others.
The collapse took place at the construction site of the Gombe State House of Assembly complex. A section of the entrance canopy gave way during ongoing work.
One person has been confirmed dead and seven others injured in the incident. Reports also noted workers trapped at the site.
In response the Gombe State Government ordered an immediate probe into the cause of the collapse.
