Jamie Campbell Bower told fans he wanted "more tactile" feet for Vecna after season 4. The actor said shoes change everything about the walk and that prosthetics designer Barrie Gower asked him directly what to tweak.
Season 5 went full CGI on the toes anyway, ditching the practical fix. Bower admitted the change happened but not the way he hoped.
Barrie Gower shared the brutal schedule, with starts as early as 1am and long de-rig sessions at night. The team avoided back-to-back days for Jamie in season 4 and used new materials to cut chair time in season 5.
So… did the CG toes deliver, or was that the real villain all along?
