A man in his 50s was injured on Friday evening at the Insane ride at Gröna Lund in Stockholm. He was hit in the head by a wagon after going the wrong way on the track.
Police were alerted at 20.10 about the accident. According to spokesperson Susanna Rinaldo the man had ridden the attraction and gone the wrong way when the ride ended. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance but was assessed as not seriously injured. The Insane attraction was shut down after the incident. Cecilia Björling, spokesperson for Parks and Resorts, confirmed that an investigation is underway. A witness account suggests the man may have jumped down to pick something up.
