New Japan Pro Wrestling's Bad Dude Tito has opened up about his mental health challenges while building his career in professional wrestling.
Tito, who has worked the independent scene for 15 years, recently gained opportunities with AEW and ROH. In an interview, he described the pressures of the industry.
"That's probably something I struggle with the most is mental health, 'cause I'm very hard on myself," Tito said. He noted that nothing is guaranteed and shared uncertainty after wrestling for AEW this month.
Tito explained the daily grind of securing bookings without major sponsors or company backing. He also mentioned doubts about his abilities and whether he will ever achieve top success.
Supportive friends in the business help, but Tito said he continues to push himself to stay competitive.
