Piaget has introduced a new Polo 79 model in 18K white gold featuring a sodalite dial at Watches and Wonders 2026. The 38mm watch, reference G0A51151, carries a retail price of €103,000 and is available at Piaget boutiques. It maintains the brand's slim, integrated bracelet design philosophy.
The latest Polo 79 measures 38mm in diameter and 7.45mm thick, crafted entirely from 18K white gold for both case and integrated bracelet. Signature gadroons—alternating brushed and polished ridges—extend seamlessly across the bracelet, case, and dial. The sodalite dial, a naturally occurring deep blue mineral with white veining, offers a unique pattern on each piece, contrasting the structured surfaces while aligning with the watch's linear aesthetic. Piaget previously used stone dials like onyx and lapis lazuli on Polo models, following 2024 releases in yellow gold, white gold, and bicolor variants. As Yves G. Piaget stated, “The entire philosophy behind the Piaget Polo can be summed up in a single sentence: it is a bracelet featuring a watch, not a watch featuring a bracelet.”
