Pokémon Pokopia's second limited-time event will introduce the Dark/Ghost-type Pokémon Sableye around April 29. Players have discovered a method to access the event early by altering their Nintendo Switch 2's date and time settings. The game, developed by Game Freak and Omega Force, continues to see strong post-launch support.
Pokémon Pokopia, a life sim spinoff from the Pokémon series, launched earlier this year to strong sales, moving 2.2 million copies over its opening weekend. The title's first limited-time event, 'More Spores for Hoppip,' brought Hoppip, Skiploom, and Jumpluff to the game shortly after release. Now, Eurogamer reports, citing Nintendo Life, that Sableye will arrive in the next event, set to go live around April 29 on Nintendo Switch 2. Event files for both the initial and upcoming additions were included in the game's launch download, enabling early access through time manipulation. Players adjust the console's system clock to trigger events prematurely, a technique noted since launch. Content creator PhillyBeatzU identified the Sableye addition early, with the method gaining attention as the first event concluded. Users can also revert the clock to revisit past events if missed. Game Freak and Omega Force have not commented on the practice, which carries risks of unintended glitches. The rapid rollout of content underscores ongoing support for the popular title.
