WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley shared details of her knee injury on a livestream, confirming a slight meniscus tear that has sidelined her for over a month.
Ripley stated her knee is healing but she still experiences pain and limited mobility. She said, “I hurt my knee. I’ve got a slight tear in my meniscus. It’s just healing, it’s getting there.”
The champion noted uncertainty about her return timeline, adding that the tear occurred in an unusual spot. Ripley last defended the title against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy on May 31.
On the July 10 episode of SmackDown, Alexa Bliss suffered an arm injury after an attack by Cargill following their match. Bliss posted photos of the resulting bruises online.
