A couple from Rosario was arrested upon landing at Fisherton after being accused of inappropriate conduct during Copa Airlines flight CM 836.
The incident took place days before May 18, 2026 on flight CM 836 connecting Tocumen International Airport in Panama City with Fisherton Airport in Rosario. A 54-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman were found semi-naked in business class, according to passenger reports.
The cabin chief reported obscene exhibitions to the Airport Security Police. The passengers were accused of disrupting order on board and protocols were activated, including contact with the Public Prosecution Service.
The woman's lawyer denied the events and stated that everything said is false. The airline completed the disruptive passenger incident form, while experts recalled that the commander holds final authority under the Chicago Convention.
