Samantha Morton has embraced method dressing for the press tour of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, selecting outfits that reflect the power and danger of her character Circe.
The English actor, who plays the enchantress in the film set for release on July 17, worked with stylist Karen Clarkson on two standout looks. At the London photo call a few days ago, she wore a gunmetal McQueen gown from the pre-fall 2026 collection, describing it as feeling “alive” and “like real metal.”
Last night Morton appeared in a sculptural all-black Bottega Veneta dress. She said the piece made her “feel so, for want of a better word, Circe” and gave her the confidence of a warrior.
Morton noted that Circe is “seductive, dangerous, and holds so much power,” and she aimed to honor that through her choices. She added that the experience allows her to make statements with clothing while promoting the film alongside cast members including Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway.
