TAG Heuer has introduced the Monaco Speed 12, a limited-edition watch featuring 12 rotating pistons for hour indication, at the 2026 Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco.
The 40mm timepiece uses a Grade 5 titanium case and a new TH84-00 caliber developed with La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton. The movement employs a patented Spin Time mechanism that rotates each piston 90 degrees as the central minute hand completes a full turn. The watch pays tribute to the brand’s motorsport roots and the Monaco collection’s history, which dates to 1969. It is limited to 50 pieces and will be available starting in December. Pricing is set at CHF 70,000, €77,000 or US$87,000. The openworked dial and engine-inspired details align with TAG Heuer’s ongoing high-watchmaking efforts, including recent releases like the Monaco Evergraph.
