Tati Gabrielle describes Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet as different side of Naughty Dog

Lead actress Tati Gabrielle has described Naughty Dog's upcoming game Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet as a different side of the studio known for The Last of Us and Uncharted. She expressed excitement about the project during a recent press event. Gabrielle believes the developers have challenged themselves in world building.

Tati Gabrielle, who plays bounty hunter Jordan A Mun in Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, shared her enthusiasm for the game while speaking with IGN at a press event for the Mortal Kombat 2 film. In the film, she stars as assassin Jade. Gabrielle said she is super stoked about the project, adding, I am excited to play myself. I think that it's such a different side of Naughty Dog that I think people are going to get really excited for. She also noted that Naughty Dog has even challenged itself in ways of world building, though she did not provide further details. Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet was first announced at the end of 2024, featuring a trailer with retro futuristic energy that introduced the lead character. Game director Neil Druckmann revealed last March that the game explores themes of faith and religion. The project is described as an expensive endeavor, with limited additional details available. Last May, Gabrielle disclosed that Druckmann put her through a mental bootcamp ahead of her role, drawing from experiences of online abuse faced by actors in The Last of Us Part 2. She recounted Druckmann saying, Ignore it. No matter what, me and you, we're going to make something beautiful. We're going to make something that we're proud of.
