Two men arrested for luxury watches theft in Pattaya

Pattaya police have arrested two Thai men in connection with a burglary at a luxury home where high-value watches were stolen. The incident occurred on March 2, with the suspects apprehended on March 9 after a CCTV-assisted investigation. The stolen items, including a Patek Philippe and a Rolex, were valued at over 6.4 million baht.

On March 2, 2026, a burglary took place at a luxury residence in Pattaya's Phra Tamnak area. The homeowner, 30-year-old Natthaporn, along with her foreign husband and their daughter, reported the theft to authorities. Two intruders, wearing balaclavas, allegedly scaled a wall to enter the property and made off with several valuables.

Among the stolen items were a Patek Philippe watch worth approximately 6 million baht and a Rolex valued at 400,000 baht, bringing the total estimated loss to more than 6.4 million baht. Pattaya City Police responded by examining the scene and reviewing nearby CCTV footage. This evidence pointed to a suspicious vehicle used in the crime and escape, as well as clothing matching the suspects' description.

The investigation led officers to a house in Nong Prue, Bang Lamung, Chon Buri, where they arrested 26-year-old Kritsaphong and 28-year-old Nakarin on March 9, 2026. During questioning, the men confessed to the burglary and admitted selling the watches to cover personal expenses. The Rolex was sold in Bangkok for 55,000 baht, while the Patek Philippe fetched 110,000 baht at a second-hand shop in Pattaya.

Police recovered the Patek Philippe from the shop, which is now undergoing formal seizure procedures for return to the owner. The suspects were taken back to the crime scene to re-enact the offence. They face charges of jointly committing theft in a dwelling at night and have been transferred to investigators for further legal action.
