Victim reports robbery on São Paulo yellow line metro

A passenger had her phone and cards stolen at Luz station on the yellow line Tuesday morning.

The incident took place around 8:20 a.m. on May 26. According to the victim, six people entered the car, held the doors and took belongings from three passengers.

The passenger filed a police report electronically. She said there were no security guards present and she did not know how to react.

Motiva, the line operator, denied an organized robbery but confirmed two thefts that morning, with one phone recovered.
