A young man has been detained after several shots were fired at a residence in Upplands Väsby in the early hours of Tuesday.
The police received the alert about the shooting at 02:43. Several shots hit a balcony on an apartment in a multi-family building. Both adults and children were in the residence but no one was injured.
Police launched a large search operation during the night. Several people were checked and witnesses were interviewed. Press spokesperson Mats Eriksson stated that several people had called in about the shots.
A young man was detained on Tuesday morning as a suspect. He was later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated weapons offence.
