Two months into the 2026 Major League Baseball regular season, American League teams have received a range of performance grades based on standings, underlying metrics and preseason expectations.
The Chicago White Sox and Tampa Bay Rays earned the highest marks with A grades. The White Sox improved sharply after an early 6-13 start, powered by strong contributions from Munetaka Murakami and Davis Martin. The Rays have succeeded through offense despite defensive issues, ranking near the top in scoring while striking out infrequently.
