Benishangul Gumuz regional head Ashadli Hassan said post-election work must succeed to strengthen the prosperity journey. A review forum on the region's 7th general election performance highlighted this focus.

At a review forum held in Addis Ababa on June 4 2018 Ashadli Hassan stated that some internal and external forces had moved to disrupt the 7th general election process.

He noted that the high participation of the people and various stakeholders prevented the disruption attempt from succeeding. He expressed gratitude to all who carried out their responsibilities.

Looking ahead he said focus will remain on achieving set goals in each sector to advance the prosperity journey to a higher level.
