The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the New York Yankees 4-3 on Sunday with a walk-off home run by Brice Turang in the ninth inning at American Family Field. The victory completed Milwaukee's first three-game sweep of the Yankees since 1989 on Mother's Day.
Turang connected with two outs in the bottom of the ninth against Yankees closer David Bednar to secure the win. It marked his first career walk-off homer and lifted the Brewers to six games over .500 for the first time since their season-opening 8-2 start. Brewers manager Pat Murphy praised Turang's steady improvement throughout the year.
