Turnes noted that several current F1 contracts are expiring amid venue rotations and the Middle East conflict, which canceled races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. This could create a calendar slot in 2027, though 2028 seems more realistic. Grade 1 homologation has been requested, with minor modifications in progress. Argentine driver Franco Colapinto, who debuted with Williams in 2024 before joining Alpine, adds momentum. He plans a demonstration run on Buenos Aires streets soon, timed before the Miami meeting to highlight local passion for F1. Turnes described this as adding 'another piece to the puzzle.' Argentina last hosted an F1 grand prix in 1998.
