Cosmas Gozali ingatkan peserta DDA 2026 hindari AI dalam desain

Arsitek senior Cosmas Gozali menekankan bahwa desain AI tidak bisa menandingi kemampuan manusia dalam kompetisi Daikin Designer Award (DDA) 2026. Ia mengungkap cara mendeteksi desain buatan AI melalui wawancara tatap muka. Kompetisi ini melibatkan peserta dari empat negara ASEAN.

Di Jakarta pada Kamis malam, 30 April 2026, Cosmas Gozali, Arsitek Senior dan Pendiri PT Arya Cipta Garaha, berbicara tentang batasan AI dalam desain arsitektur. "Kemampuan manusia dalam menerjemahkan emosi, pengaruh budaya, dan pengalaman individu yang unik adalah jiwa seni yang tidak bisa ditandingi oleh algoritma," ungkapnya.

Sebagai salah satu dewan juri DDA 2026, Gozali mengingatkan peserta untuk tidak menggunakan tools AI, karena desain tersebut pasti tidak lolos seleksi. Ia menjelaskan cara mendeteksinya melalui wawancara langsung. "Dari situ kita bisa melihat gesture, tatapan mata peserta, apakah menjiwai karyanya atau tidak," tegasnya.

Kompetisi DDA 2026, yang digelar PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, terbuka untuk profesional dan mahasiswa dari Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapura, dan Filipina. Kategori mencakup bangunan hunian dan komersial F&B, termasuk rancangan konseptual arsitektur dan interior.

General Manager PT Daikin Airconditioning Indonesia, Wenky Handono, menjelaskan bahwa DDA bertujuan mendorong desain yang mengintegrasikan estetika dengan tata udara ideal. "Dengan memperkenalkan solusi tata udara kepada para arsitek dan desainer sejak tahap perencanaan, kami berharap bisa mendorong tumbuhnya inspirasi hunian dan bangunan komersial ideal," katanya pada kesempatan yang sama.
