By February 19, 2026, the structure was topped off, a milestone celebrated with the placement of an American flag, following a traditional construction practice. The permit indicates that themed elements will soon be installed, potentially including sets inspired by the Casita from the Encanto film. According to reports, the ride's facade will resemble the Madrigal family house, with guests experiencing the attraction by riding through it on enchanted furniture. This Encanto ride forms part of the broader Tropical Americas land, described as a village of hope called Pueblo Esperanza. The land will feature layered architecture, cultural elements, and a large Spanish-style hacienda for dining. Additional attractions include a new Indiana Jones ride, distinct from existing versions, and a magical carousel with detailed theming. The Tropical Americas land, including the Encanto attraction, is scheduled to open in 2027. While Disney has not officially confirmed all details, consistent reports from multiple sources highlight the land's focus on vibrant, immersive storytelling blending family warmth and adventure.
