Hadestown: The Musical Opens with Strong Indie Box Office Debut

Bleecker Street’s Hadestown: The Musical earned $9.7 million in its opening weekend on 1,949 screens. The live capture ranks as the second-biggest opening for such a show since Hamilton. Distributor Crosswalk and partner LD Entertainment are extending the run due to strong demand.

American Pachuco: The Legend Of Luis Valdez added theaters in its second week and is estimated to gross $32,300 on 13 screens. Reading Lolita in Tehran earned $47,500 at 13 locations in week two for a $73,500 total.
