A 20-year-old animator appeared Thursday before the Marseille criminal court for violence inflicted on six children aged 3 to 5 at a holiday center in the southern districts of the city.
Amina A. is accused of demanding exhausting punishments, giving kisses on the mouth and filming the children, including one naked under the shower. The incidents date back to summer 2024, shortly after she was hired at the Léo-Lagrange center with only partial BAFA certification.
The father of little A. testified at the bar, expressing his anger: “My children were treated like cattle.” He said he held back from hitting the animator after discovering the videos. The child’s mother, an influencer on social media, publicized the case, leading to the young woman’s swift dismissal.
The trial is taking place this Thursday afternoon at the Marseille criminal court. Amina A. had stayed only a few days at the center before being fired following the scandal.
