Hong Kong finance chief Paul Chan said the city is positioned to help Beijing promote its China Opportunity 2.0 initiative to global investors.
Paul Chan made the comments after attending the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian last week.
He also visited Xi'an for an event on the commercial aerospace industry.
Chan said Hong Kong's advantages under One Country, Two Systems can turn China's market and technology strengths into opportunities accessible to overseas investors.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang introduced the China Opportunity 2.0 concept at the Dalian meeting.
