BIK Karlskoga has increased the spectator capacity at Nobelhallen to 4,800 for Monday evening's seventh and decisive semifinal match against Modo in HockeyAllsvenskan. More than 4,000 tickets had already sold with over a day remaining before puck drop, prompting the expansion. The move comes after Karlskoga's 3-1 victory in game six leveled the series at 3-3.
Interest in the matchup has surged following Karlskoga's win in Örnsköldsvik, where Modo had held a 3-2 series lead. Club officials responded to heavy ticket demand by adding fire guards, allowing them to exceed the previous limit of around 4,000. 'We have taken in fire guards. That gives us the opportunity to fill up to 4,800,' said Figge From, communications manager, in an interview with KT. 'We felt it was time now.'
