Antonelli closed rapidly on race leader Charles Leclerc before a front-right wheel shield failure disrupted his steering. The Italian driver pleaded with his team to continue racing for points despite the problem and ultimately finished 15th after a track limits penalty.
Naomi Schiff highlighted Antonelli's refusal to give up, noting his attitude of fighting for even a single point. She said this mindset was essential for winning a Formula 1 title.
