Lambrini Girls cancel Coachella performance and reschedule US tour after singer's injury

Lambrini Girls have pulled out of Coachella and rescheduled their North American headline tour after singer Phoebe Lunny suffered a neck fracture and an acute brain injury. The Brighton punk duo announced the news in an Instagram post on April 8, explaining that the accident happened in Australia and was initially misdiagnosed. Lunny is under doctors' orders not to fly or perform for the next six weeks.

In the Instagram post, Lunny wrote: “We have to pull out of Coachella and reschedule our whole American headline tour. Long story short: I fractured my neck and have an acute brain injury.” She added that if it were a broken leg, she would follow Dave Grohl's example and perform anyway, but her neck and brain injuries leave no choice. The band expressed devastation over missing Coachella, stating they hope to play there next year instead, and noted Lunny expects a speedy recovery. Their UK and European shows from late May remain scheduled as planned. Refunds and new tickets are available for affected dates. The rescheduled North American shows begin June 16 in New York at Warsaw, followed by Boston, Montreal, Toronto, and more dates in September and October across cities like Chicago, Atlanta, and Asheville. Lambrini Girls, known for their punk energy, recently released the single ‘Cult Of Celebrity’ and their debut album ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ last year, which earned a five-star review from NME for amplifying chaos and calling out societal wrongs.
