Madbouly reviews Ras El Hekma megaproject progress

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly met with Jassem Al Zaabi, Chairperson of Modon Holding, to review progress on the Ras El Hekma megaproject.

The meeting took place at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital and focused on the latest developments and coordination between the Egyptian and Emirati sides.

Madbouly reaffirmed the government’s commitment to monitoring execution and noted that continuous coordination helps accelerate progress according to the planned timetable.

Al Zaabi said construction is progressing on schedule and that hospitality, commercial and entertainment facilities in the first phase remain on track.

The two sides agreed to a joint site visit in the near future. The project was announced in 2024 under a $35bn investment agreement led by ADQ.
